SUSTAINABILITY
At Don Bellini, we are committed to reducing our environmental impact and promoting sustainable practices. Porcelain tableware is crafted from clay and fired at high temperatures, resulting in exceptional durability and longevity. Its robust structure resists scratches, cracks, and other damage, ensuring lasting quality. Stoneware, on the other hand, is fired at lower temperatures to achieve unique colors and glazes, making it slightly more delicate. As part of our sustainability efforts, up to 20% of our ceramics are recycled and reused in the production process.

At the heart of our brand is a deep commitment to sustainability. Introducing Remade, our stoneware collection, incorporates up to 20% recycled materials and is certified to meet GRS 4.0 standards, ensuring responsible sourcing and production. By continuously seeking innovative ways to reduce our environmental impact, we aim to offer products that not only elevate your home but also reflect our shared responsibility for a more sustainable future.

We are committed to minimizing our environmental impacts by employing eco-conscious practices throughout the manufacturing processes. Porcelain tableware is made of clay, which, when heated at high temperatures, becomes extremely durable and long-lasting. Its rigid structure makes it more resistant to scratches, cracks, and other damage. In our porcelain production process, up to 6% of the ceramics are recycled and reused. Furthermore, clay does not release any toxic gases into the atmosphere, making it 100% eco-friendly.

RAW MATERIALS
Our porcelain tableware is made from a combination of raw materials which are carefully blended to create a high-quality, durable product.

KAOLIN

SILICA SAND

K-FELDSPAR

NATURAL CATTLE BONE POWDER

LEAD-FREE GLAZE
Kaolin is a type of clay that is the primary raw material used in making porcelain. It is known for its fine particle size and high plasticity.
Also known as Quartz Sand, this is a mineral that is added to clay mixture to increase its strength and hardness.
Feldspar is a group of minerals, added to the clay mixture to lower the melting point and improve the strength and durability of the finished product.
Natural cattle bone powder is added to the mixture, only for our Bone China collection to improve the whiteness and translucency of porcelain.
We use a lead-free colourant glaze to create different colours and patterns in our finished products.
